From Omdurman, Sudan. Salih moved to Cairo in 2013 and received his Bachelor's degree in Geography from Cairo University in 2017, In 2021 he received his diploma in photojournalism at "DMJX" Danish school of media and journalism.

​

Salih's passion for photography began when he moved to Cairo, where it helped him rediscover himself and gave him a voice and language to fully express himself through the visual language of photography. Moreover, living between Khartoum and Cairo, played a vital role in his journey as a photographer because of its endless inspiration. Salih covered the revolution in Sudan for the "AP, Aljazeera, Sputnik.".. etc
